Dariganga Travel Guide - All About Dariganga, Mongolia

On the road to nowhere, it takes some extra effort to reach this land of myths and legends.

The ethnic minority group inhabiting the region, the Darigangans, are well-known for their production of silver jewelry. But the town is poor so if you want jewelry made you'll need to bring your own silver from Ulaanbaatar.

The best sight in the area is the string of volcanic craters that poke their way into the distance. The tallest one, Shillin Bogd, is a holy mountain and can only be climbed by men (sorry ladies).

There are plenty of attractions for everyone to enjoy, including carved stone statues of ancient warriors and the sight of thousands of migratory swans at Ganga Lake.
